Kim Wren is a Financial Advisor with the Berger Wealth Services team at Baird. She
is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ candidate, having passed her board exams
and completed her Certificate of Financial Planning though Howard University.
Kim is a native of Atlanta, GA. Before her work in finance, she was a middle school
orchestra teacher at Thompkins Middle School from 2014-2019 and served as
the Orchestra Director for the EVSC/PEF Summer Musical program for 4 of their
annual productions. She completed her Bachelor of Music in Music Education at
Michigan State University in 2013.
She is passionate about making Evansville, Indiana an attractive city to live for
young, diverse professionals. As such, her community involvement includes
volunteering with the Haynie’s Corner Arts District events committee plus
serving on the Board of Directors for the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana,
Wesselman Woods, and the YWCA. She is also an active member of A Network
of Evansville Women (ANEW) and the Association of African American Financial
Advisors (AAAA).
Outside of work, she enjoys time with friends, live concerts, and hanging out with
her dog, Petie.
